A new job brings many challenges with it, such as a new environment and unfamiliar corporate culture. To make their start with us a bit easier, we organize a monthly welcome event for new employees. This event is therefore a key part of our onboarding process.

As well as a regular five-day week, Schwarz Restaurants offer a wide variety of job opportunities. In this article, Maren explains what her job entails and what a typical working day looks like for her.

A desire to establish a holiday program for young people and at the same time forge a closer network within the international Schwarz Group were just two of the reasons for launching the international exchange program "get connected." It’s that time again: As is the case every September, our new dual students, apprentices and participants in our high-school graduate program have started their training with a Welcome Month. This year, we welcomed 137 new starters to Schwarz Dienstleistungen.

Our “Job Rotation” development program enables our employees to gain an insight into a different division in the Schwarz Group. The program gives employees the opportunity to take up a role in a different area for a set period of time (between 6 and 24 months). Our colleague Alexander participated in the program for 24 months and reports about it.

REset Plastic is the Schwarz Group’s holistic international plastic strategy. The aim of this strategy is to rethink our approach to plastic. Our colleague Hannah tells you more in this post.
