Within the Schwarz Group, we are responsible for the development and optimization of international accounting processes and systems and for the commercial administration of the social commitment companies. As a service provider and governance body, we implement administrative requirements and advise our colleagues across the Group.

The division is also responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements and the annual financial statements for the German Group companies and ensures that the business relationships between the individual companies in the Schwarz Group are transparent.

International Financial Reporting

The International Financial Reporting department is responsible for preparing the consolidated financial statements for the relevant divisions, as well as the voluntary consolidated financial statements for the Group. Relevant policies are created to address questions of principle. As a business partner, we ensure the implementation of these policies in the countries and are available as a point of contact to assist with financial questions, particularly in relation to M&A transactions. We also analyze the annual financial statements.

International Accounting

As a group-wide service provider, the International Accounting department is responsible for designing efficient, reliable, and innovative accounting processes and is the point of contact for administration departments in the divisions and countries.The dynamic development of the company, evolving legal requirements, and digital innovations drive our continual transformation

Financial Statement Factory

The financial statement factory prepares the annual financial statements for the majority of the German companies in the Schwarz Group centrally. We ensure that the financial statements are created efficiently, punctually, in compliance with the law, and in accordance with the group-wide accounting policy.

There are a great many service relationships between the companies in the Schwarz Group. The IC Governance function ensures the group-wide coordination of service agreements and their billing between the Group companies.

Social Commitment Administration

The social commitment companies provide the infrastructure for our company daycare centers, as well as for schools and educational institutions.As a service provider, we are responsible for the complete commercial administration of these companies.

Current Projects

Our colleagues are currently working on the introduction of electronic invoices across Europe. Another project involves the use of artificial intelligence for incoming invoices. We are also in the process of building a shared service center.
